Rev. Eric Verbovszky
Pastor Eric is the Senior Pastor at Amherst Church of the Nazarene.
Eric was ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in the Philadelphia District in April 2014. Eric is also a Chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserve and a veteran. After returning from his deployment to the Middle East in 2017, he and his wife Kelly - a native Buffalonian and a die-hard Bills and Sabres fan - moved to the Buffalo area with their two dogs, Lucy and Lily.
Eric enjoys hunting, exploring, cooking, and woodworking.
Previous ministry assignments include Associate Pastor (West Chester Church of the Nazarene), Chaplain (Marketplace Chaplains USA), and Shelter Staff (Kansas City Rescue Mission).
Eric is a graduate of Dickinson College and Nazarene Theological Seminary.
